![]() I have just re read the thread again and seen Scott has already park assist 1 fitted He may indeed need a new ABS module as the Facelifted Tigs have a different ABS module to the 2011 and older models. VW UK may be a bit more lenient or the dealer may have a really switched on VAS guru who can circumvent the factory SOP for recoding the module. The local dealer here said VW Australia which has administrator rights on VAS will only let them reconfigure the ABS module back to the factory setting when they replace the unit should it be faulty. If Scott has tried it via VCDS and the module has rejected it (out of range) as it did with me when I tried to add +4096 for indirect TPMS is to get the dealer to recode it via the SVM method which can only be done using the VAS software as it involves re flashing the chip in the ABS module. The short coding value for this, is by adding +256 to the existing value. Finally got them and installed, car starts run and drives except I am unable to reset ABS brakes as it comes up as all zero codes. ![]() The ABS module has to be recoded IF you have retrofitted either park assist or park assist 2 (J791 module). I have a mk6 golf tdi that got water damaged ecu and it took me several years to finally get around to locating the relevant replacement parts here in Oz.
